I built this jig on the request of a fellow luthier in Taiwan. ![]() ![]() ![]() The jig has 2 pins under the plate to slot into truss rod slots, and allows the user to use a router or dremel to true the nut slot on a guitar, once the headplate is glued in. Normally a saw is used but the saw introduces a lot of error (saw slips and now the headplate is scratched). ![]() This is the plan (note the aluminum thickness can probably be reduced to 12mm and not affect the functioning of the jig). |

Yep, nice. Can easily fix my slots when my glue up shifts a bit. |
